Congress has decided to by-pass a formal Conference Committee and the final negotiations on the House and Senate version of the healthcare legislation will occur between Speaker Pelosi, Majority Leader Reid, and the Administration. Negotiations began on January 5. AMP’s Governmental Affairs Division will continue to monitor these activities due to their far-reaching effects on all healthcare fields.
